Meet the curator & creator behind Living De Novo!
Michelle Kanberg is a furniture & home decor designer; creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces in a range of styles; allowing each piece to inspire her with it’s unique character. After discovering Annie Sloan chalk paint nearly a decade ago, she began her De Novo journey breathing new life into old, forgotten pieces, & re-awakening furniture & decor with a fresh new look. This quickly became a passion of hers, & while out searching for forgotten pieces to paint, she discovered a love for history & hipstoric items. Her passion grew & evolved to include re-homing vintage, antiques & other sweet-secondhand wonders in new homes where they will be loved & cherished for their history & unique style just as they are. In addition, Michelle enjoys the challenge, creativity & artistic expression of repurposing other items, ultimately keeping them from the landfill. (Click below to continue getting to know Michelle)
